How good of a Quality are wal-mart fly fishing combos?
Hello i am an experienced spinning and baitcasting fisherman and want to start fly fishing and does anyone have experience with the walmart fly combos (5 weight)? There around 40 bucks and was hoping to get one today. will i regret it?
Once you've mastered the castin' then I guarantee the 40 bucker will go in the closet ie., you'll be wantin' another with the better quality. If the 40$ ain't goin' to really put a' dent in your wallet, I say sure. Got ta' have somethin' to get the hang of the different type fly casts and presentation. <);-3
Note: Learned how to cast both the level wind (baitcaster) and fly rod in the back yard YEARS ago ~ ha', had a BIG back yard;)... Was always told it was difficult learnin' the fly cast, h _ _ l picked it up in no time
