Which rod/reel should I go with?
a) reel that weighs 9.9 OZ with a 8 LB/140 YDS line capacity
or
b) reel that weighs 9.7 OZ with a 10 LB/140 YDS line capacity
both of the rods are about 6 feet tall with medium action and I will probably be fishing for trout just in case this affects the one I should pick
if you're fishing stream trout i agree with the two other answers, but if you are fishing for lake run trout such as lake trout, lake run browns, and steelhead then i would do the 9.7 10lb/140yards
