I am purchasing a shimano calcutta reel. What rod should I use?
I am after a 6 foot carbon fibre rod to go with the calcutta 400 reel.
Not 100% sure which rod I should go for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am planning on fishing Barra so I reckon 30lb braid will be the line I am running.
I will be on a relatively small boat so don't want anything too long.
Am flying to Darwin so a 2 pc rod would be easier to handle.
The 400 sized Calcutta is a good sized reel, how heavy of line do you plan on using? What do you plan on using this outfit for?
