What's a good retractable fishing pole?

My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and he's been interested in getting a "retractable" fishing pole. Something that can fit in his backpack and fish on the go. He's really big into fishing, but I don't know too much about it. I want to get him a good one but I'm not too sure what I'm looking for. I personally would stay away from retractables and instead go with a multi-piece rod that will fit into a backpack. The reason for this is that multi-section rods will generally give you higher performance and quality than a retractable will. I listed a range of choices below. Go ahead a pick a 6ft or 6'6'' rod where you have choices. A reel that holds 6lb test will do the trick if you have to choose between multiple sizes.
