Best baitcasting fishing reel for me?
Hey people,
I was wondering if you could help me out with this fishing dilemma.... well you see i have a spin cast reel already (it was a pflueger president combo for about 90$ altogether) and now i actually fell in love with bait casters and was wondering which one to buy. I already have a bait cast rod (handed down) its a medium heavy fast action bob izumi signature II series shimano rod.
I had the curado E5 in mind for my next purchase or the abu sx or even the shimano citica. Im looking for a reel thats obviously a low profile baitcaster but one that preforms well with lightweight and medium heavy weight lures... mainly because i use spinnerbaits and topwater (rapala skitterwalk). I dont use jigs alot because i dont know how... but i do use worms bcuz c'mon... gulps are amazzzing haha..
my budget is 300dollars MAX what should i do?? invest in a new rod??? or just a new reel?
you can get a good combo with the curado for $300.
check BPS or cabela's. as well as gander mtn or dicks.
