what is a good cheap fishing pole that i can use to catch bigger fish?
im 13 and i have recentlytaken a like to fishing after io caught a foot lone large mouth bass in the pond behind my house i recentle found a lake with a few big fish and every time i get one hooked ill pull and the hook will come flying back at me i have the fish hooked but one issue is while fisshing i lost my reel in the lake when i cast could this be related and im looking for a good cheap fishing pole i have 15 dollars
The hottest deal I know of going on right now sounds too good to be true, but it really is. Last fall, in Juneau, Alaska's Wal-Mart store, I found a Storm Lightening Rod available in about three different lengths. I bought one because it was very inexpensive and I thought the deal was just too good to pass up and that it would not likely come by again. I was wrong. At least in one regard. It is a GREAT rod. I bought the longest one they offered for my steelhead and trout rod. (8 1/2 feet) It also came with a Blue Fox Pixee spoon which is one of the hot lures up here for salmon and other game fish. I was so impressed with the success of the rod when I used it on salmon that I convinced a friend to buy one of the last ones still on sale in the store. But just this spring, I happened to be in Wal-Mart stores in the general Anchorage area and there are the Storm rods again....with the spoons offered as well. At the Anchorage Sport Show that just took place a couple of weekends ago, one of the largest tackle dealers in that city was selling the same offerings suggesting that they were normally priced at $49.95 but were having a special Show Discount and you could buy as many as you wanted for just $12.00. (We saw a lot of folks carrying the rods out to their cars and some had two or three.) Ironically, the very same rod/lure package as offered at the Sport Show and as I had bought over a year ago is the SAME set sold by Wal-Mart today (and every day) for jut $9.98. My son has been so impressed with my Lightening Rod that the other day, he stopped by Wal-Mart and bought one of his own. I'm sure he would join me in suggesting you consider doing the same. I think you will be as impressed as I was with the value and quality of this excellent product from a well-trusted name-brand supplier. (Storm is the company responsible for bringing us many of the new and realistic soft baits under the "STORM" brand name as well.)
