Would this make a difference?
When I am fishing for large mouth bass I am fishing in a extremely clear lake and I use a swivel that is gold and silver so that I do not have to tie on my lures every time but I can clip them on easily. Would this tip off the bass that the lure was a fake? Would it just be better and more effective to tie the lure on? Thank you in advance if you can help.
P.S. I am using a deep diving crankbait but also occasionally using topwater lures that no longer float with the swivel unless I give them a constant motion.
i previously fished for bass with a swivel and caught plenty of fish but as soon as i stopped using the swivel i consistently caught larger bass. lose the swivel for a while and see how you do.
