i left my fishing rod and reel out in my garage what do i do?
so im in wisconsin and this year it got pretty cold. and i left my fishing rod and reel in my garage for the whole winter, is that bad for it? i just brought it in today, Jan. 24, and i was wondering what i should do with it. it still has line and stuff on it. its a spinning reel
will the reel be ok?
alright i have one of those abu garcia (woooo) impact reels. how do i re lubricate it? like what kinda of lubricant do i need bcuz i dont hav any
Rod and reel will be fine, just re-spool it with some new line, it shouldn't need any grease, depending if you put it away clean, so take it fishing, if you have any problems you may want to take it apart and grease it , with some grease like Ardent reel butter, if your not sure how to do this, take it to your local bait store and they should do it all for you for about $2.50-5.00.
