if you are just an authorized you call the credit card company and they will remove you and remove it from your credit. My ex boyfriend had me down as an authorized user and he filed bankruptcy. Once I called all the credit companies they removed it from my credit report and SENT me a letter confirming I wasn't responsible... Run a credit report and make sure nothing else is showing up..
