Why cant I catch a damn brown trout!?
Idk what the hell my problem is, when I fly fish I catch em pretty easily, I'll take out 3 or 4 in a day but when I'm not fly fishing I can't seem to get one… Anyone have any tips/websites?? I mean I use worms w/ sinkers…I fish the deep holes, I fish the current, the trees everything, I use egg sacks, minnows, spinners wth? I literally caught a Mullet today with my bare hands, I've caught more mullet with my bare hands in 1 day then I have brown trout with a reel in 2 years. lol

Try using a spoons, daredevil needle fish or a crocodile. I have caught many browns over the years using spoons.
