Lakers' big difference maker?
Of course Kobe is going to be the cornerstone of the team, and a lot of attention has been given to Bynum's much improved play this year, especially when Kobe badmouthed him last year.
Not a lot has been said about bringing Fisher back, though; he's been under the radar. How much of a difference has he made? Besides merely being a veteran presence in the locker room besides Kobe, he's a good shooter and a good passer who plays a smart game and can help open things up for everyone else on the floor, or make the big clutch shots himself if he needs to. A big improvement over the Smush Parkers of last year. Do you think the Lakers would be looking as cohesive as they are right now if they didnt reel Fish back in?
Kobe is still the best on the Lakers, but Andruw Bynum is the most improved player this year, and he is the next great center. I think Fisher has helped alot with the point guard position, but Farmar has stepped up as well.
